Program Outline
Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu + Trek Briefing
Touch down in Nepal’s capital, meet your guide, and settle into our hand-picked boutique hotel. You’ll get a full trek rundown, time to gear check, and access to the hotel gym to fire up your system for the altitude ahead.
Day 2: Kathmandu to Lukla (2,845m) + Trek to Phakding (2,610m) – 8km, 3–4hrs
Board a short, heart-racing mountain flight into Lukla — the gateway to Everest. Then hit the trail with your crew, descending through alpine forest and crossing swinging suspension bridges on the way to Phakding village.
Day 3: Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440m) – 11km, 6–7hrs
This is where the legs start to feel it. You’ll follow the roaring Dudh Koshi River up through forested climbs and into thinner air. Namche — the Sherpa capital — awaits with stunning views and proper mountain energy.
Day 4: Acclimatization & Exploration in Namche
Adaptation day — but don’t expect rest. We’ll take a higher-altitude day hike, visit the Everest View Hotel, and soak in panoramas of Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam. Stay active, stay sharp, stay ready.
Day 5: Namche to Tengboche (3,870m) – 9km, 6–7hrs
Roll through rhododendron forest and drop into the Dudh Koshi gorge before the switchback climb to Tengboche. This spiritual high-point is home to the region’s most famous monastery — with killer views of Everest at sunset.
Day 6: Tengboche to Dingboche (4,410m) – 8km, 6–7hrs
Cross creeks and ancient mani stones as you ascend into open alpine landscapes. Dingboche is where the trees vanish and the oxygen drops — perfect conditions to test your training and tune into mountain rhythm.
Day 7: Acclimatization & Exploration in Dingboche
Another vital high-altitude hike. We’ll push to Nangkartshang Peak or similar to build lung strength and get even more elevation under your boots before base camp.
Day 8: Dingboche to Lobuche (4,910m) – 7km, 5–6hrs
Trek through the eerie beauty of the Khumbu Glacier moraine. By now, the trail is quieter, steeper, and raw — and the altitude is serious. You'll pass memorials to fallen climbers on your way to Lobuche.
Day 9: Lobuche to Gorakshep (5,160m) to Everest Base Camp (5,364m) – 14km, 8–9hrs
The day you’ve trained for. After reaching Gorakshep, drop bags and push onward to Everest Base Camp — where rock, ice, and legacy collide. Then return to Gorakshep for the night, knowing you’ve just made it to the foot of the world’s highest peak.
Day 10: Kalapatthar (5,550m) + Helicopter Return to Kathmandu
Rise early for the summit of Kalapatthar — the best panoramic view of Everest anywhere. Then lift off. A private heli swoops you out of the high Himalayas and back to Kathmandu in one dramatic final chapter of the trip. Settle back into city life, the mountain now behind you, the achievement yours forever.
