Program Outline

Day 1 – Arrive in Kathmandu

Touch down in the heart of Nepal and meet your fellow trekkers. Check into your boutique hotel, get briefed on the route, and prep for the adventure ahead.

Day 2 – Kathmandu to Lukla to Phakding (2,610m)

Early morning flight to the mountain airstrip at Lukla (2,845m) — the gateway to the Khumbu. Begin your trek along the Dudh Koshi River, through pine forest and suspension bridges, reaching Phakding by afternoon.

Day 3 – Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440m)

A full day of trekking into altitude. Cross high bridges, pass through Monjo, and enter Sagarmatha National Park. Push up the final climb to Namche — the iconic Sherpa capital perched in the clouds.

Day 4 – Acclimatization & Exploration

Rest, adapt, and explore. Optional hikes to the Everest View Hotel or Khumjung village offer stunning panoramas and a deeper look into mountain culture. Your body adjusts — your journey sharpens.

Day 5 – Heli Drop to Everest Base Camp & Return to Kathmandu

Start early for the main event: a helicopter flight over glaciers and icefall to Everest Base Camp (5,364m). Step out into the high Himalayas for an unforgettable moment at the foot of the world’s tallest peak. Then fly back down to Lukla, connect to Kathmandu, and close out your journey with the rare satisfaction of standing at Everest Base Camp — all in just five unforgettable days.
